How the charts work.

Monthly charts built from real platform data, Thai news and brand work.

The monthly cycle

A month of data. One chart each month.

Data is collected through the month across the Thai artists we track. The Pulse team reviews the results before the chart is published once a month.

Buzz 100

Monthly chart for Thai artists

Five components are compared across active Thai artists using 0–100 percentiles, then combined into one Pulse score.

Reach
Latest audience size on Spotify (followers and monthly listeners, averaged), YouTube, Instagram, TikTok and Facebook, log-scaled. No single platform can count for more than 40%.
Momentum
Each platform's own follower growth plus Spotify listener growth over 90 days, averaged, with the latest 30 days counting most.
Engagement
Fan activity: Spotify listeners per follower, YouTube monthly views per subscriber, TikTok monthly likes per follower, and engagement rates on Instagram, TikTok and YouTube. Each is compared within its platform; the artist's score is the middle value.
Buzz
Thai news mentions in the last 30 days, with unrelated headlines filtered out.
Brand activity
Reviewed brand endorsements and collaborations in the last 12 months, one per brand, with no cap on the number of brands.
Trust rules

The same safeguards behind every score.

No fan votes or paid inputs. Label verification never changes a score. Missing data is never scored as zero.

No votes. No paid inputs.

Fan votes and payments do not contribute to a chart score.

Verification is not a score boost.

A label verifying an artist profile never changes the score.

Missing is not zero.

Missing components are left out, the remaining weights are renormalised, and the artist is marked partial data.

Shows are Buzz, not brand deals.

Shows and appearances can count toward Buzz, but not Brand activity.

Members’ deals stay with members.

A member’s own brand deal does not count toward the group’s Brand activity.

Checked before publication.

The Pulse team reviews every monthly Pulse Buzz 100 before it is published, with extra care for new entries and big moves.

Chart positions are never for sale.

Brands, labels and Pulse partners cannot buy a chart position.
